Jennifer Lopez Sued for Canceling Tour
Jennifer Lopez was supposed to be touring some European cities & Dubai for her new album "Rebirth" tour, but after delaying it, she canceled it all together, & didn't give any reason for her decision!
Now she is being sued by promoters & organizers who claim they had spent about EUR 203,000 on commercials and to satisfy Lopez' many whims. The promoters in Bulgaria said they had spent a little over EUR 3,000 on sunflower seeds, chili, aroma candles and mineral water, and then had to double the sum to transport all the supplies from the states. The Latin star was supposed to hold her concert in Sofia on May 2, as part of the tour promoting her latest album "Rebirth", but she delayed the gig for May 23. Afterwards she cancelled the tour, leaving thousands of disillusioned fans in Mocow, Dubai, Mumbai, Athens, Baku and Thessaloniki. Posted on 15 May 2006
Jennifer Lopez's India tour postponed
International pop diva Jennifer Lopez scheduled to perform in several cities of the world, including Mumbai, has postponed her entire Spring World Tour which was to be held this month. "Jennifer Lopez has decided to postpone her entire Spring World tour including all of the shows she was to perform in Athens, Baku, Mumbai, Dubai, Moscow, Sofia and Thessaloniki in May 2006," according to a brief communique issued globally by Lopez's managers. Jennifer Lopez was scheduled to perform in Mumbai as part of her world tour with Kingfisher Airlines being the presenting sponsor. Consequently, her concert performance scheduled for May 21, in Mumbai, now stands postponed.

Jennifer Lopez cancels concert
Pop diva Jennifer Lopez has announced she will not perform in Dubai.
After weeks of speculation surrounding the concert, which has already been postponed once, promoters Mirage have confirmed the A-list celebrity has cancelled the show at the Dubai Autodrome on May 25. Refunds will now have to be made for the 15,800 tickets which have already been sold for the event. A spokesman for Mirage Promotions said it was J-Lo's decision to cancel the Dubai show along with six other concerts from Athens to Moscow. Posted on 10 May 2006
Jennifer Lopez & Marc anthony to renew vows?
JENNIFER LOPEZ and MARC ANTHONY are planning to renew their wedding vows after being wowed by TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES' nuptials in Italy last month (NOV06). The singers wed in a private backyard ceremony in June 2004, but now feel they should plan a grander event to declare their love for each other all over again after attending the Cruise/Holmes affair. A source tells America's Life + Style magazine, “Jennifer and Marc were in awe of Tom and Katie’s bash. Their own wedding cost only about $50,000 and Jen wore an off-the-rack gown, so now they want something spectacular.” The source claims the couple has even thought about a date - 5 June (07), their third wedding anniversary - and Lopez believes the Ritz-Carlton in Puerto Rico will be the perfect location.”

Jennifer Lopez making drama series
Jennifer Lopez is getting set to step into the world of television by becoming the executive producer for a gritty new drama series about a gang leader who becomes a defence attorney. The actress/singer has been given script commitment by Fox studios for 'Brethren', a series that is loosely based on the life of Isaac Guillen, a former gangbanger who puts his multiple-felony past behind him and becomes a defence attorney.
In a statement, JLo revealed that it was the "fine line the character must walk" between his professional life, and his personal one, is what first got her interested in the concept. "What interested me was the fine line the character must constantly walk in terms of both his professional and personal life, and the fact that it comes from a true-life story makes it all the more compelling," Zap2it quoted her, as saying. Guillen's life is complicated by the fact that his colleagues think he's corrupt and his clients believe he's corruptible. Executive producer Alfonso Moreno, who will be writing the pilot for the series, said that the "inherent tension" for the series' main character is what was sure to get audiences hooked. "I really love the inherent tension for our main character. He has to work to walk the straight and narrow. In his professional life, law enforcement is trying to trip him up and criminal forces are lurking to suck him in. His home life is equally tricky in that he has to be the ultimate 'Do what I say, not what I did' single parent," Moreno said. Jennifer Lopez gushes about home's master bath
Jennifer Lopez's "favorite room in the whole house," the Brookville, N.Y., mansion she shares with her husband, Marc Anthony, is the master bathroom, J.Lo. reveals in Vogue Living, a new Vogue spin-off. The luxe lavatory contains ancient Puerto Rican cannonballs and a nickel-plated rolltop bathtub. Anthony, raised in East Harlem, owned the house before Bronx-born Jenny moved in after their 2004 wedding. Lopez says she "did a whole top-to-bottom revamp on it and put the woman's touch in there," with help from designer Thom Filicia of Bravo's Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.
