Jennifer Lopez's hairy house
The singer-and-actress reportedly owns so many hairpieces she has built a 'wiggery' in her New York mansion, which she shares with her husband Marc Anthony and their 13-month-old twins Max and Emme.

A source said: "Jennifer keeps the door locked and hardly ever lets anyone in the room, not even Marc. The shelves on the walls are full of plastic heads holding the best hairpieces money can buy."

Jennifer, 39, is so obsessed with changing her hair she constantly updates her collection and is keen to try out new styles. The source added to National Enquirer magazine: "Her actual hair is shoulder-length. Her wigs allow her to experiment with different looks and styles without having to have extensions or grown her own locks. She has short, long and super-long looks. Her wigs are so elaborate they take on a life of their own."

Jennifer Lopez eyeing deluxe condo hotel in Miami
Jenny From the Block may be purchasing more property in Miami.

Jennifer Lopez, who already owns homes on both Long Island and Star Island in Miami, just checked out suites at the Icon Brickell property, home to the Viceroy Miami. The glam hotel's property developer, Jorge Perez, gave J.Lo and hubby Marc Anthony a personal tour of the recently opened towers in Miami's up-and-coming downtown district.

Says an insider: "Jennifer saw Jorge's condo and loved it so much that she's considering combining a couple of units to make one big apartment as a weekend getaway."

A little message re the previous article
HI everyone! I have received a few mails from visitors who are afraid we may have to shut down this site because of its domain name, so I thought I had to let you know what's going on. As previously mentionned on the site, the two domain names that will be transferred to the Jennifer Lopez Foundation were registered by a guy who was using them to redirect the potential visitors to a site that mainly consisted of ads, nothing there was about Jennifer and that dude was clearly exploiting her fame.
Our situation is different because our domain is leading to a fan site. We've been online for more than 3 years, and our updates are super regular so no one can actually claim that we just bought the link for something else than provide the fans with the latest news on Jennifer. Our situation is also different because unlike this webmaster, we make no profit from our site. It's actually the opposite situation, it's costing big $$$ to keep it online, and if you need an exemple, just try to remember the number of times we had to find a new host and pay for it. I regularly receive offers from companies who want to buy the domain, probably to redirect their visitors to a porn site or a random celebrity site with hundredds of ads everywhere, and I never sold the domain, just as I have never accepted offers from advertising companies because this is not a commercial site, it's a fansite. I think this is also the reason why Jennifer's foundation only went after this guy and left the other webmasters alone, because quite frankly, many URLs are using Jennifer's name but 99% are fansites so that would be stupid to get rid of them, we are after all promoting her career. I haven't received any complaint by Jennifer's people so I assume they are fine with me having my website here, but if they have a problem with my site then I suppose the first step would be for them to contact me so we can find a solution. Until then, we won't change our habits and we will still keep you informed on Jennifer's career. :-)

Jennifer Lopez Wins Cybersquatting Case
American singer and actress Jennifer Lopez has won a cybersquatting case against a U.S. web operator who registered two Internet addresses that used her name for commercial profit, a U.N. agency said on Thursday.

The disputed domain names, jenniferlopez.net and jenniferlopez.org, directed users to a website that generated paid advertising revenues, according to the ruling issued by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

An independent arbitrator ordered the domain names transferred within 10 days to the Jennifer Lopez Foundation, which filed the complaint. The charitable foundation promotes better access to healthcare for women and children.

The Grammy-nominated singer, widely known as J.Lo, joins other celebrities in ousting cybersquatters through the dispute procedure, including Pierce Brosnan, Tom Cruise, Celine Dion, Scarlett Johansson, Nicole Kidman, Madonna and Julia Roberts.

Lopez, who is from the South Bronx, registered her name as a trademark in the United States in May 1999 and has sold more than 48 million albums worldwide, according to her complaint.

A man based in Phoenix, Arizona, named as Jeremiah Tieman, registered both domain names and asserted that he ran primarily a fan site devoted to providing news and information about the star, according to the arbitrator, Williams Towns.

Tieman "registered two domain names that are identical to the complainant's mark and has used those domain names to attract Internet users to a website from which (he) generates pay-per-click advertising," Towns said in his ruling.

The American arbitrator found that the registration had been for commercial use and was in bad faith.

Jennifer Lopez's twin birthday party
Jennifer Lopez threw a star-studded party to celebrate her twins' first birthday on Saturday afternoon (21.02.09).

The singer-and-actress and her husband Marc Anthony hosted 50 guests in the garden of their Bel Air home, in Los Angeles, in honour of Max and Emme, who turned one yesterday (22.02.09).

A source said: "All the children had a great time. Jennifer and Marc had done a great job decorating their backyard in red and blue with silver balloons, and they had really thought how best to keep the kids entertained.

"There were two moonbouncers, a clown and great music and they had even got a cocktail company, The Margarita Man, to make non-alcoholic slush drinks."

Guests including Nicole Richie, Joel Madden and their one-year-old daughter Harlow sang happy birthday while a cake from elite Beverly Hills bakers Rosebud Cakes was presented to the twins.

Jennifer has previously admitted she is unsure whether she will expand her family any further.

She said: "I don't know if I'm going to have kids again, so I want it to be a beautiful experience. I don't want to have any drama. I want to just be smiling every day.' "

Jennifer Lopez dishes on Oscar Glamour
Jennifer Lopez may not have made it to N.Y.C. Fashion Week but that didn’t stop her from celebrating fashion this week! The diva turned up at the Beverly Hills launch of famed stylist Andrea Lieberman’s A.L.C. line for Barneys New York. With the Oscars just days away, talk inevitably turned to this year’s Academy Awards red carpet. For her part, Lieberman is ambivalent about the impact the economy will have on the Oscar’s glamour. “It’s hard to predict what people will wear,” the tastemaker tells WWD, “but I think the mood right now is a little more effortless. I think people just don’t want to look like they’re trying too hard.” Lopez, however, was adamant that she thinks the Oscars should continue to shine. “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with playing dress up right now,” she tells WWD. “Who wouldn’t want to wear borrowed dresses and borrowed jewelry?” But she is aware of the dilemma many stars find themselves in. “I think you can get criticized if you’re wearing borrowed dresses now because it’s borrowed, and I think you can get criticized for if it’s not because you bought it during the current economy,” she says. “So I say, do what makes you happy and wear what you want, because the only thing that really matters,” she jokes, “is if your mother calls you up the next days and says, ‘What were you wearing?’”

Ringless Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony Walk Golden Globe Carpet Together
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony walked the red carpet together at Sunday's Golden Globe Awards.

Lopez -- who was not wearing her wedding ring -- donned a mashed gold bugle beaded embroidered long draped dress by Marchesa.

The couple's major public outing comes a month after multiple sources confirmed to Us Weekly that their marriage is at a breaking point.

"They both didn't wear their rings on purpose," a mutual pal of the married couple of four years (who renewed their vows in October) told Us. "Nothing Jennifer does is without purpose." Anthony's rep has insisted, "They are doing great."
