Jennifer Lopez gets real scars during fight scenes with Marc Anthony
Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony were so convincing during the shooting of domestic violence scenes for new movie “El Cantante,” the actress has been left scarred for life by the fake fights.
Lopez and Anthony play husband and wife in the biopic of salsa singer Hector Lavoe, and J.Lo ended up hurting herself during one feisty fight sequence, Star Pulse informs. "I have scars, literally scars, from them (the fighting scenes). Hector (Anthony) wore a lot of rings, so when we started mixing it up in that scene... It wasn't written that I'd push him or touch him, but I just started pushing him and telling him to get out. Next thing you know, my hands were cut open. Jennifer LOPEZ HAD NO WORRIES ABOUT WORKING WITH ANTHONY
JENNIFER LOPEZ had no qualms about working with husband MARC ANTHONY on new movie EL CANTANTE, despite the criticism she endured shooting 2003 flop GIGLI with then-boyfriend BEN AFFLECK. Lopez and Anthony play husband and wife in the biopic of salsa singer Hector Lavoe, but the actress, who also produces the film, insists she wanted to cast Anthony in the role long before they became romantically involved. She says, "When you do a project, you want to bring the best people together. "I got his script five years ago; Marc and I were not a couple at the time. But I knew he was the one to play Hector. I didn't even know that I would play Puchi (Hector's wife), I just knew that it was the first movie that I wanted to produce. "I called him immediately, and he was like, `Oh my God! He's my idol! Of course.'"

Rumour : Jennifer Lopez to be an aunt soon?
"Tiempos Del Mundo" recently reported that Jennifer Lopez's sister, Linda, is possibly pregnant. However, Linda refused to confirm the rumour, simply saying that she wouldn't talk about her personal life.

Jennifer Lopez Dishes On Becoming 'Underground Cool' With Marc Anthony
You would think Jennifer Lopez would shy away from co-starring opposite her famous husband in a film but, "Gigli" be damned, she goes for it with "El Cantante," set for release August 3. Marc Anthony takes center stage in this ambitious biopic of the iconic Latino salsa singer Hector Lavoe. Playing Lavoe's wife, Puchi, Lopez takes some dark turns as an actress. Those turns aren't surprising in the context of the film, however, considering the tragedies that befell the influential singer and his wife.

Jennifer and Marc's Passion Project, 'El Cantante,' Premieres in NYC
Looking perfect in peach, Jennifer Lopez lit up 42nd Street Thursday night with her main man Marc Anthony by her side. The husband and wife co-stars of “El Cantante” made the New York premiere a night of passion and Puerto Rican pride. “It’s very exciting for us,” Lopez said. “It’s been six years coming, and here we are finally.”
“El Cantante” tells the true story of salsa king Hector Lavoe. Jennifer was on board as a producer before she and Marc even started dating, and she thought he’d be perfect for the part. “He was the first person I called,” she admitted. “It was a no brainer.” “She’s so cute, isn’t she?” Marc laughed. Jennifer's best bud, Leah Remini, was also at the premiere, and while Leah gushed about Jen’s performance, Jen butted in to bust her chops. “She came out of the screening in Puerto Rico, and she's like crying and everything,” Jen laughed. “It made me seriously cry,” Leah admitted. Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony Premiere 'El Cantante,' Talk Beckhams
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony may have been born in New York City, but judging from the reaction they got in Puerto Rico last night, the island thinks of them as their very own. Lopez and Anthony went back to their roots for the world premiere of “El Cantante” where they didn’t just wow the crowd, they joined them.
“You feel like you're home you know,” Marc told Access of the screams the crowd gave the couple. Dazzling, in a form fitted and one shouldered champagne concoction, J. Lo’s frenzied fans flipped out over the lovely lady. In the movie, Marc revealed to Access last night that he snuck in extra kisses for wife Jennifer. The affectionate couple also sent their love to good friends Posh and Becks, who were busy with their big bash and unable to make the trip. “We are hoping they make it to the premiere in New York. We don't know. They said they would try,” Anthony revealed. He also added a word of support for the new Galaxy star. “I just want to say ‘Dave, Congratulations on your first game. Sorry we couldn’t be there,’” he told our cameras. In addition to their Puerto Rico stop, Anthony and Lopez have a lot of co-traveling in their future.
