Jennifer Lopez reveals her beauty secret
CURVES HAVE always been her thing. After all, they don't call Jennifer Lopez 'La Guitarra' for her strumming ability. The actress and singer whose voluptuous shape breaks the Hollywood size zero mould believes a woman should be proud of her body.Which is why she was showing hers off on holiday in the skimpiest animal print bikini.
And while cellulite is perhaps a little too unkind a word for the smattering of dimples in her derriere, it was certainly not a picture of peachy perfection. Not that Miss Lopez, 38, will let that worry her. She has always maintained that being healthy is far more important than whittling away every spare ounce of flesh. 'I couldn't ever be a size zero,' she recently told Elle magazine. 'I just don't see how I could get down to that size and still be healthy. I eat meat, I eat carbs, I even eat McDonald's. What I don't do is ever overeat. I don't eat desserts and I can limit the chocolate chip cookies to one or two.' Miss Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony, also 38, are enjoying a break in her native Puerto Rico. 'For me, looking good is all about looking healthy,' she said. 'And the ultimate beauty secret is about being happy in yourself.' Posted on 18 Aug 2007

Jennifer Lopez worries career could end
Jennifer Lopez has admitted that she worries regularly about being rejected by Hollywood.
Speaking at the Hollywood Foreign Press Luncheon last week, the singer and actress explained that she constantly works hard to avoid the possibility of her career plunging into a downward spiral. "I wake up every day and I worry that it all might end; you just never know in this industry," she told FOXNews.com. "No matter how successful you are, this is Hollywood - it's unpredictable. But it is this that motivates me just to keep working harder." Jennifer Lopez added that she would not necessarily recommend her own approach of pursuing both singing and acting projects. "I think if music is your passion, then stick to music, or if acting is your passion, then stay with that," she said. "But for me, I wanted to try a variety of things and it’s the diversity that I love. But everybody is different and at the end of the day you just have to follow your heart." Posted on 14 Aug 2007
Jennifer Lopez Set to Release Her New Album Brave on October 9, 2007
Jennifer Lopez's new pop album Brave is set for release on October 9th on Epic Records. This is Jennifer's sixth studio album and her second release this year. Her first all-Spanish album Como Ama Una Mujer was released in March; it zoomed straight to #1 on Billboard's Latin Album chart (where it stayed for 4 weeks) while also making a remarkable #10 debut on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart. This made history as the highest sales of a Spanish album debut. Como Ama Una Mujer has already sold 800,000 copies worldwide.
For the hotly anticipated new album Brave, Jennifer collaborated with producers like J.R. Rotem, Ryan Tedder, Middi Mafia and Bloodshy. The first single "Do It Well" is already heating up airwaves on all radio formats including Z-100 in New York City and KIIS and Power 106 in Los Angeles. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony recently announced their tour ING PRESENTS JENNIFER LOPEZ & MARC ANTHONY EN CONCIERTO which kicks off September 29 in Atlantic City. The tour will make its way to fourteen major markets and some of the hottest venues in the U.S. and Canada, including New York's Madison Square Garden, the Los Angeles Staples Center and the Miami American Airlines Arena. $1.00 from every ticket sold on the tour will benefit the ING Run for Something Better, a free school based running program which benefits Latino kids. Jennifer has been busy promoting the film El Cantante in which she stars as Puchi, the wife of tragic salsa legend Hector Lavoe. Produced by Lopez's Nuyorican Productions, El Cantante opened last week to rave reviews. Newsday wrote, "...the haunting beauty of the movie is the way it dramatizes the central figure of salsa music, the singer, who is burdened with carrying the hopes and dreams of his audience..." Few artists have traveled so effortlessly from one artistic medium to another as Jennifer Lopez with her incredible array of talent as an acclaimed movie actress, a chart-topping musical artist and a fashion industry entrepreneur. Her trailblazing career boasts major box office hits, prestigious film nominations, the successful fashion line Sweetface by J.Lo, best-selling fragrances, and over 35 million albums sold worldwide. Jennifer Lopez wins damages over first husband's plans for tell-all book
Jennifer Lopez was awarded nearly £260,000 in a lawsuit against her first husband over his plans to publish a tell-all book claiming she had several affairs. A court-ordered arbitrator made the decision in April in Lopez's breach-of-contract suit against Ojani Noa, court papers filed Monday indicated.
The figure includes only around £98,000 in damages, with the rest going for arbitration costs and attorney's fees. Jennifer Lopez's suit claimed that Noa had violated a previous lawsuit settlement preventing him from revealing private information about their relationship. The arbitrator also decided that a permanent injunction should be awarded against Noa that would bar him from "criticizing, denigrating, casting in a negative light or otherwise disparaging or causing disparagement" to Lopez. Noa also would be directed to give the singer-actress or her attorney all copies of materials related to the book. The arbitration decision was disclosed on Monday when Lopez's attorney filed papers asking a judge to confirm the award. A hearing in the case was scheduled for next month. A call to Lopez's attorney, Paul N. Sorrell, was not immediately returned Wednesday. Noa could not be located for comment. Noa, 31, and Lopez, 36, married in February 1997 and were divorced 11 months later. Noa's unpublished, ghostwritten book alleges that during that time Lopez had multiple affairs, including one with her third and current husband, Marc Anthony, court documents indicated. Her lawsuit claimed that Noa offered not to publish the book in return for around £2.5 million. In 2004, Noa sued his ex-wife for breach of contract, claiming she lured him into taking a £500-a-week managerial job at her Pasadena restaurant, Madre's, then fired him five months later. Noa settled the case for over £60,000 and agreed not to disclose private information about their relationship or to disparage Lopez, according to court papers. Lopez's suit claimed Noa's book plans breached that agreement. Posted on 09 Aug 2007
